Description
The Bedford 14-1489 is a direct-fit replacement for the Wagner 04339 strainer. A 50-mesh screen has 50 openings per linear inch, providing medium filtration suitable for latex primers, standard paints, and most architectural coatings. This component provides filtration to protect Wagner spray equipment from debris and maintain consistent spray performance.
Common reasons this strainer is replaced:
- Reduced material flow due to clogged or blocked screen mesh
- Pump cavitation or priming difficulty from restricted suction
- Visible damage, corrosion, or deformation of the strainer screen
- Scheduled strainer replacement during routine pump maintenance
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance. Compatible Wagner equipment models are listed in the Compatible Equipment section below, where available.
