Description
The York S1-024-23224-000 Rollout Switch is one of the safety devices that help to protect HVAC systems from overheating. This switch is designed to turn on at 370°F and it plays a safety function of keeping track and acting on high temperatures in the system. The rollout switch which is a thermal safety switch is placed in areas where overheating may indicate an issue for example inside the furnace or near the burner area. When the temperature goes high of 370°F, it turns on the switch to either reduce the power or shut down the system to avoid damage and fire.
