Instantaneous fittings are designed for use in forest fire fighting. The ends are interchangeable (there are no male or female hose ends) and connections are made with a simple quarter-turn. This lightweight, nylon valve is rated to a maximum of 300 psi and comes with a built-in weeping feature that helps to prevent silt blockage.
