Description
The Bedford 18-980 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 166229 female gland. Paired with its mating male gland, it captures and preloads the packing set that seals a moving rod, and it wears in the same high-pressure service the packing does.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid leaking past a worn packing seal
- Damaged gland bore or sealing face
- Packing that won’t hold pressure once set
