Description
The Bedford 18-2911 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 15G657 and 15G-657 — the upper female gland used in Graco spray equipment. The female gland is the cupped ring that seats one end of the V-packing stack in the pump’s fluid section; paired with its male counterpart it keeps the packings compressed so they seal around the piston rod under pressure. Compatible with Graco 7900 HD IronMan, 7900 HD ProContractor, APX 8200 (Chrome), APX 8200 (MaxLife), DutyMax, GH 200 (2014+) and other Graco equipment.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid leaking past the packings even after tightening
- Pressure drop from a packing stack that no longer seats squarely
- Grooving or corrosion on the gland face after long service
- Renewed along with new packings during a pump repack
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance.
