Universal couplers are designed to accept the most common styles of 1/4″ nipples – Automotive, Industrial, and ARO. These couplers also interchange with the European high-flow offered by Cejn, OBAC, and Nitto. The design of this coupler combines the easy push-to-connect feature while still maintaining a sleeve coupler profile to prevent accidental disconnection when hoses are dragged. Universal style couplings employ a different valve design than common North American parts that allows much higher air flow rates.
