Description
The Trane VAL8699 is specifically designed for the Trane HVAC systems using R410A refrigerant and is a Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV). This element works as most essentialcomponents needed to control the flow of coolant within the said system. It’s like an output regulator that modulates the refrigerant as per the temperature inside the evaporator coil. The is generally designed for 1-ton capacity systems and has inlet and outlet openings of 3/8” and ½” respectively. It can handle pressures 91 PSI and has a temperature range suitable for normal HVAC use of 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
