The Trane VAL3858 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essentialcomponent in your Trane air conditioning system, A refrigerant flow control valve that learns from temperature and adapts for the specific job of cooling smaller loads. Unlike simple on/off valves the TXV is a essentialcomponent in the cooling process.
