The Sporlan Controls 168170 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is suitable for R-404A/R-507 refrigerants used in HVAC systems as air conditioning units, heat pump systems, and refrigeration systems. Equipped with 3/8” x 1/2” ODF connections, this TXV accurately controls the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil.They control the flow of refrigerant comparing the pressure and temperature of the evaporator. These include increased cooling capacitybetter energy efficiency, reduced system failure since liquid refrigerant cannot get to the compressor and accurate temperature regulation for comfort. Its use helps to achieve the effective and consistent functioning of HVAC systems.
