Description
The Bedford 16-2438 is a compatible replacement for Speeflo part 235-028, a rod seal for Speeflo spray equipment. The rod seal rides the reciprocating rod, keeping fluid on the working side while wiping the rod clean on every stroke.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Renewed whenever the assembly is opened for service
- Fluid weeping past the seal under pressure
- Hardened or nicked sealing lips found at teardown
- Pressure loss that tightening does not cure
