Description
The York S1-022-09012-000 Thermal Expansion Valve is a key part of HVAC systems which controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coils. This TXV features connectors measuring 5/8″ x 7/8″ ODF and a pressure rating of 45.0 PSIG. The TXV controls the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil by adjusting to varying temperature and cooling demand. That correct balance prevents both underfeeding and overfeeding that can cause inadequate cooling or damage to the system. It helps to keep interior temperatures consistent and also make the energy efficient.
