Description
The Bedford 20-3404 is a direct-fit replacement for the throat packing set used in Graco Xtreme 145 TFE airless spray equipment. This packing assembly seals the pump rod and prevents fluid leakage at the pressure chamber interface, maintaining system integrity under high-pressure spraying conditions.
Pump rebuild specialists and spray equipment service technicians rely on throat packing sets to restore equipment performance after wear or fluid seepage compromises operational efficiency. Proper packing installation ensures consistent pressure stability and extends overall pump life.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid weeping or spray pattern degradation around the pump rod area during operation
- Visible leakage at the throat assembly after routine equipment inspection
- Loss of prime or pressure fluctuations indicating internal seal failure
- Scheduled maintenance rebuilds on Xtreme 145 TFE units returning for routine service
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance. Compatible Graco equipment models are listed in the Compatible Equipment section below, where available.
