Description
The Bedford 20-3402 is a direct-fit replacement for the piston packing set on Graco Xtreme 145 L/PE airless spray equipment. This packing set seals the pump’s piston rod and maintains pressure integrity within the fluid cylinder during operation. Pump rebuild specialists and spray equipment service technicians rely on this component to restore performance after piston rod wear or packing degradation reduces pump output or causes fluid leakage.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Visible fluid weeping around the piston rod or scoring of the rod surface during pump teardown
- Loss of pressure buildup or inability to maintain consistent spray patterns despite proper gun valve operation
- Packing material degradation from extended service life or exposure to aggressive coating chemistry
- Recurring air entrainment or cavitation noise indicating seal failure and pressure loss
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance. Compatible Graco equipment models are listed in the Compatible Equipment section below, where available.
