Description
The Bedford 20-3408 is a direct-fit replacement for the piston packing set in Graco’s Xtreme 145 TFE/PE airless pump, a high-performance sprayer widely deployed in commercial coating and industrial fluid handling applications.
Pump rebuild specialists and spray equipment service technicians rely on piston packing sets to restore the pump’s pressure containment and operational integrity during routine maintenance or after extended service life. This TFE/PE formulation delivers the chemical and temperature resistance required in demanding spray environments where standard packings degrade prematurely.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Pressure loss or erratic spray patterns indicating worn packing seals in the pump cylinder
- Visible fluid leakage from the piston rod area during operation or standby
- Reduced pump output or inability to achieve specified pressure after other system diagnostics rule out valve or intake issues
- Routine scheduled replacement as part of preventive maintenance during full pump rebuild cycles
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance. Compatible Graco equipment models are listed in the Compatible Equipment section below, where available.
