Used for tractor to trailer brake connections, G1213 Coiled Air Brake assemblies conform to DOT FMVSS 106 requirements as well as SAE J844 and FMCSA 393.45 specifications. The heavy duty plated spring guards are corrosion resistant for added protection while the large coil diameters prevent kinking and allow for excellent recoil memory. With no cutting required and thread sealant on male pipe threads pre-applied, connecting these coiled air brake lines is quick and convenient and only requires a wrench to tighten the three-piece tractor side end fitting once attached. Complete the assembly with a gladhand and gladhand grip on the single-piece trailer side end fitting and you’re ready to roll! Colour-coded for mistake free hookups, G1213 assemblies are available in blue (service) or red (emergency), as a pair, or sold separately.
Note: Unlike hose, Coiled Air Brake tubing is ordered by outside diameter (O.D.) and has a maximum working pressure of 150 psi for air brake service.
