Ring style locking arm cam-locks feature a special design that helps prevent accidental disconnection caused by vibration, dragging, or wear. The locking arms eliminate the need for loose clips or straps making them ideal for critical applications including chemical, oil and gas, and sanitation and waster water applications.
Our stainless cam-locks are manufactured from Type 316 Stainless Steel for maximum corrosion resistance. Special care is taken at the factory to ensure a smooth finish on wetted surfaces to minimize bacteria build-up in sanitary applications. Currently, the standard gaskets in our stainless cam-locks are not rated for food. To use these cam-locks in food and beverage applications, please be sure to replace the standard gaskets with our FDA compliant silicone or EPDM gaskets. Standard gaskets are rated to 105°C (221°F).
Safety Note: Cam-locks should not be used with compressed air or other compressed gases.
