Description
Part Description:
Used where containment of harmful gases is a high priority, such as in tank truck loading and unloading processes and at filling stations, vapour recovery cam-locks are used to capture the vapours of gasoline or other fuels to reduce the noxious and potentially explosive fumes from escaping and polluting the atmosphere. Vapour recovery cam-locks incorporate a probe that is specially designed to open the valve on vapour fittings when they are connected. They are manufactured from aluminum alloy and feature plated steel pins, pull rings, and safety clips as well as forged brass handles. Each vapour recovery cam-lock comes complete with a brass probe, while the G65CVP features a poppet valve for added security. The ideal solution for preventing harmful emissions during the transfer of petroleum products, vapour recovery cam-locks help to ensure compliance with environmental regulations while also improving safety. Standard Nitrile (Buna-N) gaskets are rated to 105°C (221°F).
Safety Note: Vapour recovery cam-locks are not intended for liquid service and are designed for vapour recovery only.
