Unlike soft nose fittings, which feature a rubber O-ring for sealing, a POL hard nose tail piece seals through metal-to-metal compression between the connector and the cylinder valve. With an all brass construction, propane tail pieces are a crucial component of our torch kits and are commonly found in asphalt repair, weed burning, and preheating for welding. This fitting is available for individual purchase or as pat of our complete torch kit.
