G388 is for straight connections in engine cooling and marine wet exhaust applications and has the same features as G381 but without the helix wire. It is particularly useful where installation space is limited, and a wire reinforced hose cannot be compressed enough to fit between the end connections. G388 meets SAE J2006 Type R1 specifications for marine wet exhaust hose.
Note: For extreme temperature service, it is recommended to use G384 Silicone Coolant hose.
