C400 Series Couplings are commonly found in the agricultural industry and comply with ISO standard 5675. In the 1/2″ size only, they also meet ISO-7421-A, and so interchange with C200 series 1/2″ parts. C400 Series Couplings feature a zinc-plated carbon steel construction, allow for bidirectional flow, and come standard with buna-N (Nitrile) seals. Available in both poppet and ball valve design, both have balanced springs while the locking ball system allows for quick and easy connection.
Note: Traditionally, C400 Series Agricultural Couplings were supplied with ball type valves. However, to reduce unsightly dripping, we primarily stock poppet style valves. For ball valve connections instead of poppet valves, specify “BA” after the root part number (eg. C401BA-08, C402BA-08, etc.).
