Hose restraints are used to prevent injury, reduce damage and downtime, and minimize liability. Hoses can whip if they become accidentally uncoupled or tear away from their end fitting. G29WS Whip Sock Hose Restraints are ideal for high pressure applications and act to control whipping in the event of a failure. The galvanized steel woven sock extends down the hose for maximum grip while the dual anchor points extend beyond the end fittings to be secured. Always use G29SH Whip Sock Safety Shackles to connect two hoses or to connect one hose to a fixed location. For ease of installation, whip socks should be installed prior to inserting the end fitting during the assembly process.
