Description
The Bard HVAC 8402-068 7″ Auto Limit Switch is a temperature control safety component used to monitor heat levels inside heating equipment. This automatic reset switch is installed in compatible wall-mounted units, where it responds to high-temperature conditions by opening or closing the electrical circuit at its calibrated range of approximately 260F cut-out and 30F reset in HVAC systems. It is positioned within the furnace or air handling section, where it works as part of the internal safety control network alongside the blower ignition and main control system.
