Description
The Bedford 9-1822 is a compatible replacement for Airlessco 187-020 and Graco 867051 — the ball used in Graco spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump’s fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Airlessco 3600, Airlessco 3600 SL, Airlessco 4100, Airlessco 4100 SL, Airlessco 5100, Airlessco 5100 SL and other compatible equipment.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
- Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
- Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
- Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
