Description
The Rheem-Ruud 83-104499-09 Charge Compensator is a high-performance component that is applied to HVAC systems to ensure that constant pressure of the refrigerant is maintained as well as the efficiency of the cooling process. This heavy-duty compensator is designed to accommodate pressure of HCFC R-22 and HFC R-410A refrigerants with burst pressure of 2500 PSI. This device has an overall length of 15-7/8” and a body diameter of 3-1/2” and the body length of this device is 12” which is suitable for pressure regulation. In order for the charge compensator to function, it has to balance the refrigerant pressure in the system especially when operating conditions differ.
