Manufactured from 5% cobalt alloy and fully ground HSS for drilling in hard and abrasive materials. No-skate tip for clean and accurate starts. Three-flat shank promotes better grip on bits 3/16″ and larger. Designed for very high drilling temperatures. Equipped with 2 cutters and 2 flutes, chips are removed quickly to make the bit last even longer. This drill bit works with alloyed and non-alloyed steel, stainless steel, cast iron, cast steel and acid- and heat-resistant steels.
