The Carrier HC46VL221 Condenser Fan Motor, it is a vital component of air conditioning systems. It is used to operate the condenser fan through the use of which airs the hot condenser coils. This design gives a fairly compromise between the starting torque and the running efficiency. It uses a single-phase voltage of 200-230V at 60 Hz and it consumes about 4.5 A of current when in use. It has a horsepower rating of ¾ and a speed of 1075 RPM which is enough to allow enough airflow through the condenser. An automatic reset thermal overload protector is incorporated to protect the motor from overheating and therefore guarantee the motor’s safety and efficiency.
