Maintaining clean air in a working environment is important for the health and safety of everyone in the automotive service industry. Exhaust fumes can cause serious health issues. Simply opening doors and windows will not provide adequate ventilation or protection. Garage Exhaust Hose is specifically designed to vent poisonous exhaust fumes out of the work area efficiently. This lightweight, flexible, and crack resistant hose will withstand years of service with little to no maintenance. Our crushproof hose (CR) can be run over by a vehicle and will return to its original shape every time. Our kink-resistant hose (CRW) features an internal wire for added reinforcement and strength while still allowing the hose to easily move throughout the workshop. Green Line Garage Exhaust Hose is easy to install and uninstall allowing for flexibility in your workspace. The 11 ft hoses can quickly be connected or disconnected, allowing you to replace a single hose without needing to replace the entire system should any damage occur.
We also carry a complete line of accessories to make sure your exhaust system is as safe and effective as possible. Here are some important notes on adapter selection:
- Always select a tailpipe adapter with a 1/2″ diameter clearance around the tailpipe to allow air flow that keeps exhaust temperature within acceptable limits, thus greatly extending hose life.
- Tailpipe adapters can be quickly screwed onto or into exhaust hose.
- Use threaded connectors with CR-500, CR-600, and all CRW exhaust hoses.
- Use ‘Y’ connectors along with short lengths of hose and tailpipe adapters to create Y-assemblies for vehicles with dual exhausts.
- Door Ports are designed for 1″ thick doors. Port diameters are large enough to fit the outside diameter of the hose.
- Specialty adapters such as elbows and duct connectors are available to join exhaust hoses to overhead or under-floor exhaust ducting. Please contact us with your requirements.
