These manual connect and disconnect couplings are commonly used in fluid transfer applications where unrestricted flow and high operating pressures are desired. In 1/2″ size, these couplers are also gaining popularity for glycol connections to drive units of progressive cavity jack pumps. Couplers are machined from solid brass or Type 303 Stainless Steel bar stock. Stainless steel balls, retaining rings, and springs provide maximum service life. Nipples are machined from solid brass, steel, or Type 303 Stainless Steel bar stock. Steel nipples are hardened and zinc-plated for maximum service life.
