Internal expansion couplings are manufactured from solid brass forgings. Ferrules are cold-drawn copper alloy. These couplings can only be installed using a Scovil type internal expansion machine. Internal expansion couplings are most commonly found in home fuel oil or marine refueling applications.
Note: To choose the ferrule you need, use the chart below to match your hose O.D. with the correct ferrule letter designation.
