Description
The Bedford 9-1258 is a compatible replacement for Graco parts 101-718 and 101718 — the ball used in Graco spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump’s fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Graco 5:1 Bulldog, GH 1015, and Viscount II.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
- Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
- Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
- Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
