Description
The Johnson Controls MP822C001A Pneumatic Actuator is a high quality pneumatic actuator designed for precise regulation of HVAC dampers and valves. Controlled by a pneumatic control signal, it regulates its action by a pressure of 3-7 PSI. It has a nominal stroke of 0.5 to guarantee accurate and stable operation to control the dampers and valves in HVAC systems. One of those is the fail-safe mode, which uses a spring return mechanism. In case of power failure or system malfunction the actuator reverts to a specific position to maintain safety and operation of the HVAC system.
