It works like a miniature battery delivering the additional electrical current required to start and operate two distinct motors at once. In most HVAC systems these motors are responsible for operation of the compressor and the condenser for circulation of refrigerant and to expel heat from your home. This cylindrical capacitor is intended for use in normal 50 or 60 Hz electrical power circuits. It has a capacitance of 70/10 MFD and voltage rating of 370V, which provides the right kick start to your HVAC system and make it run efficiently.
