Description
The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100208450 pressure relief is a device designed to restrain any high-pressure build-up in the HVAC system. This valve is engineered for use with boilers and water heaters from Lochinvar and A.O. Smith. When excessive force builds up to a certain level, in this case, 75 PSI, the relief valve operates to dissipate the pressure. In many cases, it is used in industrial plants, in particular though not exclusively, in systems with boilers, chillers, and heat pumps. When the limit is reached, the valve allows pressure release, which protects the system’s integrity whilst ensuring safety in operation.
