THIX is a biodegradable, slow drying, and drip-free lubricant reducing friction by approximately 70%. GRIP-IT, on the other hand, while not biodegradable, dries much faster to help keep installed parts in place and allow for immediate testing. GRIP-IT reduces friction by approximately 40%.
