Description
The Bedford 18-552 is a compatible replacement for Speeflo part 180-103, a male adapter for Speeflo spray equipment. The male adapter sits at the end of the packing set in the pump’s fluid section, seating the packings squarely so they seal against the piston rod and cylinder wall. Worn adapters let the stack shift, and no amount of packing-nut tightening will hold pressure once that happens. Compatible with Graco EM 380, Graco EM 390, Graco EM 490, Graco Nova (Ultra-style), Graco Super Nova, Graco Ultimate 500 and other compatible equipment.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Wear or corrosion on the adapter’s seating face
- Renewed with the packing set during a fluid-section repack
- Fluid bypassing a packing stack that no longer sits square
- Pressure loss that new packings alone do not cure
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance.
