Description
The Bedford 9-3282 is a compatible replacement for Speeflo part 704-702, a ceramic ball for Speeflo spray equipment. This ceramic ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump’s fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Ceramic shrugs off corrosion and abrasion, which makes it a common upgrade path for waterborne and aggressive materials. Compatible with Speeflo PowrTex 1200 SF and Titan PowrTex 1200 SF.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
- Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
- Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
- Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
