Description
The Supco SHP600475 High-Pressure Switch is a control element that is used to identify the pressure in air conditioning and heat pump lines of refrigerants in HVAC systems. It is placed on the high-side refrigerant line, and it completes the electric circuit when the pressure is 600 PSI and above to keep the compressor and other parts under excessive load, and it opens when the pressure is 475 PSI and below. In this application, the switch is used to prevent mechanical damage to the system by interrupting the conditions, which is used to make the HVAC appliance operate safely.
