Description
The Bedford 9-534 is a compatible replacement for Titan/Speeflo part 138-340 — the ball used in Titan spray equipment. This ball is the moving element of a check valve in the pump’s fluid section: on each stroke it lifts off its seat to let coating through, then reseats to hold pressure. Compatible with Titan Atlas 30:1, Titan Atlas III, Titan Commander 60:1, Titan Ensign 12:1, Titan PowrBeast 4700, Titan PowrCoat 975 and other compatible equipment.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid backflow from a ball that no longer seats cleanly
- Pitting or scoring from abrasive coatings
- Replaced together with its seat during a fluid-section rebuild
- Sprayer loses prime or pressure as the ball wears out-of-round
