Description
The Bedford 23-2616 is a direct-fit replacement for the Titan 700-244 spring (also Titan 800-926, Wagner 507747, and 508682) used in Titan and Wagner valve assemblies. The spring supplies the return or seating force that keeps a valve working consistently, and it weakens gradually with cycling.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Valve failing to return or reseat reliably
- Weak or collapsed spring tension over time
- Corrosion or coating buildup binding the coils
- Routine replacement during valve service
