Description
The Trane COM11570 Scroll Compressor is an energy-efficient compressor for essentialcooling needs in HVAC applications using R-22 refrigerant. This Trane compressor operates through a scroll system unlike the conventional piston compressor used in most systems. In the sealed housing, a fixed and orbiting scroll compresses refrigerant gas and generates high pressure at a moderate speed. This 5.1-ton capacity compressor is suitable for handling high cooling loads and it can operate at low ambient temperature of 45°F. Brazed stub tubes (discharge size 1/2”) are used for refrigerant circulation and are well-secured.
