Description
The Trane HTR3532 is a 6-kilowatt 3-phase heater element for industrial and commercial HVAC applications. An electric heating coil that converts electrical energy into heat. These elements are generally used in air handling units, makeup air units, or other equipment that requires high-capacity heating, and when energized, the internal resistance of the element heats it. This heat is absorbed by a stream of air flowing past this element raising the air temperature. The 3 phase design provides for balanced power distribution across the element and efficient operation on high voltage 480V systems. There are different purposes for which these elements can be used, for instance, supplying warm air when the weather is cold in factories, warehouses as well as in large buildings.
