Description
The Bedford 18-1883 is a compatible replacement for Wagner/Amspray part 13361 — the female gland used in Wagner spray equipment. The female gland is the cupped ring that seats one end of the V-packing stack in the pump’s fluid section; paired with its male counterpart it keeps the packings compressed so they seal around the piston rod under pressure.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Renewed along with new packings during a pump repack
- Fluid leaking past the packings even after tightening
- Pressure drop from a packing stack that no longer seats squarely
- Grooving or corrosion on the gland face after long service
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance. Compatible Wagner equipment models are listed in the Compatible Equipment section below, where available.
