Description
The Bedford 18-2070 is a compatible replacement for Wagner part 294376, an upper male adapter for Wagner spray equipment. The upper male adapter sits at the end of the packing set in the pump’s fluid section, seating the packings squarely so they seal against the piston rod and cylinder wall. Worn adapters let the stack shift, and no amount of packing-nut tightening will hold pressure once that happens.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Renewed with the packing set during a fluid-section repack
- Fluid bypassing a packing stack that no longer sits square
- Pressure loss that new packings alone do not cure
- Wear or corrosion on the adapter’s seating face
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance. Compatible Wagner equipment models are listed in the Compatible Equipment section below, where available.
