The Carrier HD60FK655 Electric Motor of 3.7 horsepower and is 3-phase, manufactured for use in Carrier HVAC equipment. It is a belt drive motor therefore power is transferred by a belt between the motor and the blower fan inside the HVAC system. This fan helps to force air within the duct system making the home comfortable. It works at a voltage of 208–230/460 volts AC, and its operational speed is at 1725 RPM in the counter-clockwise direction. This solves the matter of inefficiency due to a worn-out motor and brings fresh air into the system.
