Description
The Trane VAL8608 Thermal Expansion Valve with Exteq is an essentialworking part of HVAC systems that is used to control the refrigerant in the evaporator. It is used as a thermal expansion valve mainly because its functioning depends on the temperature changes experienced by the system. The current TXV used here for equipment of up to 2 tonnage is of thermal actuator type and dynamically adjusts the temperature to maintain a steady state. Regulated at a pressure of 48/44 PSI, it controls the refrigerant flow rates to meet the desired cooling or heating output irrespective of the conditions.
