Description
The Honeywell MP953D1131 pneumatic valve actuator is used in HVAC system applications. It has a size of 7 inches, a spring range of 4-11 PSI, and a travel of 3/4 inch. This actuator operates based on compressed air that pushes a piston and in doing so moves a connected valve stem. Such a valve is operated when air pressure is applied to the actuator, where the piston in turn extends fully opening the valve. Then the spring gets the piston back to that initial position that shuts the valve. Such a controlled opening and closing of the valve enables a system, such as an HVAC system to control the rate of air or fluid flow.
