Siemens 242-00212 2-way valve body W/2 position spring return (SR) actuator for precise fluid control in HVAC systems. It runs on 24 VAC power supply, which is compatible with most control systems. Normally closed (N/C) 3/4″ pipe thread connection for ease of installation in standard piping systems. The valve’s operation is straight flow by opening or closing in response to control signals. A spring return mechanism on the actuator assures reliable closure in the power is not present, increasing safety and improving overall system reliability. It has a flow coefficient (Cv) of 4.1 and is efficient at controlling flow rates with a precision necessary for certain applications.
