Description
The Sporlan Controls 3552-00 is a replacement solenoid valve body built primarily for commercial and industrial refrigeration applications. This essential part is powered by an electromagnetic coil (separately offered) and serves as a regulated entry point for refrigerant flow. Refrigerant flow can be enabled or disabled by the valve when the coil is powered, depending on the needs of the system. Envision a tiny, electrically operated valve in your air conditioning system. Similar functionality is only possible with a different coil for the 3552-00. Because of its typically closed (N/C) construction, the valve stays closed while it is not in use. A magnetic field is produced when the coil energises in response to a signal from the system controller. A plunger moves and opens a passage inside the valve body as a result of this field’s interaction with the interior parts of the valve.
