The Xylem-Hoffman Specialty 401455 1/8″ Non-Vacuum Air Valve Convector Steam Vent 6 PSIG No.41 is an accurate air vent that is utilized in HVAC systems to eliminate any air in steam heating lines to provide efficient heat transfer. It is fitted in a convector and radiator steam system, where air pockets may cause a disruption in the flow of steam and decrease the heating efficiency.
